Well R.Talsorian Games is working on getting a good printer to do the reprint of the Datascreen for Cyberpunk RED. But it may be a while off and it's currently sold out on their site and at distributors. I work at a game shop, we've been trying to get some for a while now, no distributor has any. So while we wait for a hardcopy to come along they are making the digital version super cheap over on DrivethruRPG. Right now and up until the new printing comes out it is only a single solitary dollar to get the pdf. Now that's a deal. Click on the image below to go grab a copy.
Musing and articles from Peter Amthor. Usually of a role playing game influence but I do drift into other directions occasionally. You can also find me on Mastodon at dice.camp/@peteramthor. Comments and constructive criticism welcome. Also this blog is best viewed on a desktop or wide screen tablet.

Fantasy City Aesthetic
I always liked the look of fantasy cities that a lot of European fantasy games use. Especially Warhammer Fantasy. That cramped feel, multiple story building, and just a lot more creative than just a few single story buildings laid out all neatly by a grid.
For example this one from "Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay Building of the Reikland".
Very much worth the 3.99 price tag if you ask me.
I mean this look is much more appealing to me. Sparks the imagination more. Someday I need to run a city based fantasy game again using Advanced Fighting Fantasy, which has become my go too choice for rules light fantasy gaming. But who knows when I'll get the time.
However the pdf of this book shall be looked at whenever I do get around to it.

Cityscape recommendation
One of the books from the DnD 3.5 run that needs to be in POD (but is sadly only pdf) is the Cityscape book. It's a great resource for those who either haven't done much gaming that is urban or city based, or for the ones who are having trouble running a game in that setting. Loaded with advice, encounters and lots of setting filler necessary for bringing a fantasy urban environment to life.
Pick up the pdf over on DrivethruRPG if this sounds like what you need.

Dark Sun 5e fan port
Well one thing is for sure. What the fans put together now days is miles better than what WotC is putting out. So check out this Dark Sun port for DnD 5e that clocks in at over 300 pages.
Nice to see the people still putting the work into what they love.

Free - Steampunk Weapons & Armor
Decided I need to throw some more focus on hobbyists in the gaming community. Those who put stuff out for cheap or free. The folks who put a lot of work in for very little return (if any) because they want to make something that others may enjoy.
This time I'm going to point you in the direction of this, just release, wonderful little gem for steampunk games. "Steampunk Weapons and Armor" from Kawaii Snarknado. Made for use with DnD 5e settings. It's a great collection of gear ranging from your normal fare up to the more exotic type of things.
So if you're going to be running a steampunk or similar type of game soon then you really need to at least give this one a look.

Primal Order from Hostile Work Environment
Initially released by Wizards of the Coast before they ever released a little card game called Magic: The Gathering. This is a capsystem meant to be added onto an existing system to help bring gods into your games easier and with much more effect.
The Primal OrderTM reigns supreme. Also known as TPO, The Primal Order is the premiere resource for using religions and deities effectively and creatively in roleplaying games.
